Good reception with Sprint. Bounces between two and three bars but I haven't noticed a major difference in call quality.

Virtually no reception at all indoors. Lived in 2 different apartments in Kingstowne (Archstone) and this happened both places. Get a weak signal on balcony, 2 or 3 bars out of 5 on a good day, dropped calls even out there are common.

Can not complete a call from within my Apt., need to go on balcony to have a chance. There are two Cingular stores within a mile, yet can't make a call indoors. Makes no sense, need a tower. Girlfriend has Verizon and she has a perfect single indoors.

In the house, there is virtually NO signal or maybe one bar. We stayed with Cingular when we upgraded becuase of the fact that we got decent reception in the house, but now with the new phones, it's terrible.

Reception comes and goes since Cingular bought out AT&T. I can not move in my house without fear of dropping a call.

I consistently drop calls in my home, on the gw parkway and at my office in mclean. Several times a day! I had AT&T but had to switch with the merger. I loved AT&T! I have complained enough to Cingular they have decided to release me from my contract if I mail my phone back (in good condition) - which is fine but where to go next??

Reception is poor to non-existent throughout the Mt Vernon area.

Verizon has great reception but the phones are terrible. They keep getting bigger and clunky, not sleek and nice like Cingular or T-Mobile. Is there any phone company that has it all??

I always get full bars with Verizon. Even when I'm downstairs in the laundry room of my apartment building

poor inside the house 1 to 2 bars but can not talk ok outside in the yard jumps to 3 4 or 5 bars

Just moved from Del Ray to Waynewood and get absolutely no reception at all at home. Going to change service.

Perfect Reception in western Alexandria. Drops to 3 bars in some places as you head west a bit towards Annandale.

Little or no reception in my house at 5th St. and Chowan Ave. The house is in a valley with steep hills in front and back. I've noticed coverage is poor elsewhere in the neighborhood, e.g., in Whole Foods at Little River Turnpike and Braddock Rd.

Reception drops to nothing between TC Williams and Janneys Lane. Inside my house, I get nothing with either the i90c or the newers i860. On occasion, the i90c was negligibly better but not enough to provide a reliable connection.

Whole area seems to be really spotty. Lots of dropped calls, as if the community was a dead zone.

Coverage fads in and out and is spotty depending on where I am in my house

I lose reception on the Bridge crossing into MD from VA all the time.

Much better after migrating from TDMA to GSM.

Since August 2004, I can no longer get any reception in my house ("emergency calls only" is all I get). I have continued to call At&T to no avail. Prior to August 23, 2004, I was getting a signal at my house.
