I have between 1 and 3 bars and most all calls are dropped at some point. My phone often does not ring at all - I just get voicemail that someone called me. After several conversations with Cingular they admit that this part of Annandale is between two towers. I was on the phone with customer service trying to disconnect my service when my call was dropped. SHEESH. I can't even get rid of them! I'm wondering if Verizon would be any better here? Any word on that???

I got 2 bars outside and only 1 bar inside. very disappointed with the service. recently moved from Florida and both these phones were giving excellent reception everywhere. Thinking about changing the service or maybe if any other phone set which gives better reception in this area.

Always get drop call in this area when I go down the hill, in the same place it happens with Sprint and Nextel too

We have No reception indoors, even by windows on upper levels. Somtimes we have one bar-- sporatic weak signal from outside. T-Mobile tells me that we are in what they consider "just outside the gray", iffy area, and though the reps would say with enough complaints and trouble shoot request they might improve the situation since 2002. Now in 2005, it's worse. Used to have one bar weak signal sometimes in 2002-3. Now it's a consistently no signal. Of the cell phone companies: AT&T had better reception than T-mobile, and Verizon, better than AT&T. But even Verizon wasn't always providing strong signal indoors. Of the phones we've used: Samsung s105 was the best, Sony Ericsson T610, then Motorola 663. Motorola V66 was the worst in signal strength.

I live across the beltway near some cell phone towers. All calls sound clear. I have good reception from the Franconia Springfield Metro Station up to Tysons Corner Mall. Reception inside buildings is pretty good, even inside Tysons Corner Mall and Tysons Galleria.

Poor to no reception on my Samsung A310 through Verizon Wireless.

Poor reception with AT&T inside the townhouse. Sometimes, my Motorola T720 cell phone picks up signal from Cingular and ignores the AT&T signal. Get one bar when I step outside the townhouse.

Garbled calls unless I go outside in the mosquitoes. Outside I get 3 bars.

You'd be lucky to get one bar outside, it's a dead spot for about a mile in either direction.

Good reception when using my Trimode LG4400, with new Audiovox reception is poor and drops often-Verizon service has been the best for me, but I learned that even buying a new Trimode was not as good as LG-Maybe LG works better with Verizon, just a thought
