The reception isn't bad outside, but as soon as you enter any building forget it. There are a lot of problems where service will randomly cut out too for about a minute or two, which really sucks if you are making a phone call.
Coverage fell dramatically this summer, now we have to go into the front yard to use the phone (and even there get 2 bars max). Going to take the penalty for breaking contract 9 months early to move to Verizon.
I live on a first floor apartment (2 apartments above me). The reception here is horrible. My phone is almost always in roaming. Rarely can I get a signal at all in my apartment and sometimes I can't even get a clear signal outside my apartment.
Sprint works fine in my office and on local roads (except for one place on the 460 bypass on the way to Christiansburg) but it's terrible in the house-- only one or two rooms are barely tolerable.
