The only time I lose reception is inside a VT building that has cellphone blockers installed intentionally... and even there I get SOME signal. <3 Verizon!
The reception isn't bad outside, but as soon as you enter any building forget it. There are a lot of problems where service will randomly cut out too for about a minute or two, which really sucks if you are making a phone call.
Coverage fell dramatically this summer, now we have to go into the front yard to use the phone (and even there get 2 bars max). Going to take the penalty for breaking contract 9 months early to move to Verizon.
I live on a first floor apartment (2 apartments above me). The reception here is horrible. My phone is almost always in roaming. Rarely can I get a signal at all in my apartment and sometimes I can't even get a clear signal outside my apartment.
I'm living in Chasewood Downs and this is the third time since March 10th, 2008 that I couldn't get any signal when I'm staying around my apartment. Every time I called the customer service and they would send an engineer to fix the tower and it would take 5 days before the signals recovered. I have to go about 50 meters away from my apartment to receive and make calls. The network coverage here is disgusting!
