I just signed up for Alltel after 2 and 1 / 2 years with Verizon and I am really surprised how good the service is here. I guess I just thought because of all the advertising that Verizon would have the best coverage, but I found the tower lookup on this site and the closest tower to Bracey is owned by Alltel and the signal is far stronger throughout the area. The signal does drop a little inside in certain places like they all do, but I would recommend Alltel as the best provider by far if you live here and spend time all over the area as they seem to have the best coverage.
Very poor reception. I'm like everybody else. If I stand really still and don't sneeze I might be able to keep a call for a few seconds. We desperately need a service provider with a tower on 903 just East of Bracey.
Good Reception from 85 to River Ridge but then it starts to drop out from there down to NC line. Not to great on Lake Gaston Either. You can find a couple of spots that you can get a signal but dont move once you do. Other than Bracey I have had no problems with reception or dropped calls. Overall good service.
