I had terrible reception on my old Treo 650, but when I bought a iPhone 3G a few months back and now have usually have full strength inside the house and outside. I'm not sure if AT&T added additional towers or it is the change in phones, but I'm much happier with my service than before. I almost always have all bars full.

Mostly get 3 bars, okay reception, even inside the house (lucky me!). Get zero reception if I go outside the immediate neighborhood complex like across the street at McDonalds or Safeway area.

Only worked part time in house. Poor area for any company apparently--any time of day or night you can find folks in front of their houses TRYING to get a call completed.

No reception - Intersection of Rolling Rd and Braddock Rd. Barely one bar - Turn right onto Burke Lake Rd.from Rolling road. 100 yard before getting off Little Turn Pike River exit from 495 North toward Tyson Corner

Absolutely no GSM signal at all. Every call drops when driving through this dead zone.

Perfect reception everywhere in Fairfax. I often get full bars in places where almost everyone else has no reception at all - inside buildings, under ground, anywhere.

The reception is extremely poor in Burke (Lake Braddock Area). Inside the townhouse is virtually impossible get signal. Outside I can get barely 1 bar. I Have friends and visitors coming with ATT&T, Nextel, Sprint and they have the same problem. The only one I never tried is Verizon. Maybe it cpuld work a bit better.

Almost everywhere in Burke I get either spotty or no reception at all - inside and out. Gets a little better once I start heading back towards the city of Fairfax. Fair Lakes is horrible, too.
