Reception fades in and out. Sometimes I can get 3 bars but most offen 1 to none. When setting the phone setting to roaming only (Verizon signals) I can get 2 to 3 bars on average. EV-DO seems to connect at pretty decent speeds but that also depends on how many bars of course but I do connect at EV-DO vers. x1.

I can see a cell tower from my back deck; however, my reception is rarely above 3 bars, and frequently drops out entirely, within several steps. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this service and it is an ongoing problem for the past 8 years with Sprint.

Best reception at home so far of any carrier. Had poor reception with Cingular and T-Mobile; no complaints so far with Sprint and these phones. Radio Shack guy said Sanyo phones get better reception generally and he was absolutely right. Wife's reception at home with Sprint Nokia phone not as good as mine.
