Terrible reception with AT&T. Roomates phones work great, mine is terrible though.

I would like to swtich to AT&T for the iphone, but on my little street AT&T says there is only moderate coverage which means not in the house or car but maybe outside. It has been that way for the ten years that I have lived here, and I have complained to them that I would be using their service if they could get a signal to my house. Verizon works perfectly. I do not understand how this little patch of land with about 25 homes cannot use AT&T and why they do nothing about it.

I don't know why I waste my time with this company. I get zero bars everywhere in my house except for upstairs. Upstairs I get two max, and I may have one or two on the middle floor if I stand next to a window for a couple minutes. But for the most part I cannot receive or dial calls within my home. Which also means sending a text message is at the door as well. Montclair has little to no reception with AT&T / Cingular, so if you ever plan on using a cell phone on this network, I hope you choose to live somewhere else.

Hops between 3 and 4 but holds on 4bars most of the time.Reception is better when battery is not low also I have seen. The whole edgewood drive is not between 3 to 4 bars though. phone picks up 850mhz / 1900mhz for the usa and 900 mhz / 1800mhx for Asia and Europe area

AT&T / Cingular sucks in this area. "Fewest dropped calls"... Yeah... OK... Sure. If I ever live in this area I think I'll ask my employer for an AT&T phone so I won't have to worry about them calling in the middle of the night.

Cingular reception very poor off of I95 thought it would improve with AT&T Merge... What was I thinking???Stay away from Cingular in the Dumfries area... Verizon is the BEST!

Signal can vary from Home to Extended to Roam all within my house.

Perfect at most times the highest that Nextel and boost goes up to is 4 signal bars I get four bars and sometimes goes two to three bars but not very often so I recomend this at least for my area Montclair is good for Nextels and Boost phones.

Terrible reception in house - calls drop like crazy. Hit or miss outside. Usually have to be in middle of street to get a call through.

Excellent Reception with Verizon.

two to three bars and sometimes 4 bars its ok I guess since its a neigborhood that has alot of trees all around it. Samsung A650 is my model.Press *228 every now in then to get access to more reception in different areas and chose option two. Edgewood drive is where I live.
