Horrible reception! I had to cancel because I had no signal inside any building. Even when in DC.

Although I don't really like Verizon Wireless, I had to switch to them because Sprint doesn't get coverage inside buildings at the school (GMU). Sprint and most others get coverage fine outside, but once you go inside buildings, coverage drops tremendously. I contacted Sprint to see if they were planning to put a tower nearby at all to boost signal inside the buildings, but they said that they already had coverage in that area, and were not planning to expand it any in the near future.

Reception is terrible indoors, gets considerably better once outside. Calls often require multiple attempts to connect and dropped calls aren't uncommon, either. Cingular was great while I was in Arlington but could use a lot of improvement in Fairfax.

Practically no reception anywhere in the home, little better outside. Dead zone also at local shopping center at Fair City Mall. Frequently my wife cannot get through to me calling from anywhere in the Fairfax area to myself anywhere in the Fairfax area. Maybe make a connection 30% of the time. Verizon give you some nonsense about the phones being designed for people zooming about in cars.
