I had T-Mobile before switching to Verizon 2 years ago. I have to get a land line just in case of emergency because the calls may not go through. I can't carry a conversation on my cell phone because of so many drop calls or lost signal sometimes. Looking to switch to other carrier.

When is an AT&T tower going to cover this area? Tired of hearing "more bars in more places", when can't get decent service in suburban neighborhood

Had to return the phone within two days... No coverage where I live despite the fact that the neighborhood is a high-density area in terms of population.

Outdoors the recption is good, however (lack of) call connection and dropped calls has become a big issue. Indoors I get 0-2 bars. When I was an AT&T customer in the same area, I never had such issues.

I usually have no reception in my bedroom (which is in the basement, but even near the huge window I get no service. I have to charge my batter (which is only a month old... ) every night because my phone is constantly searching for service and wearing down the battery. It's really frustrating. I actually had to drive a few miles down 495 to have a conversation with my mother. I live in a group house and all of us have cell phones, so we don't subscribe to a land-line phone service because we'd almost never use it. Logical right? Not in this location. We had an emergency a couple months ago and when my roommate (who has spring, not verizon) tried to call 911, she got a recording saying that all circuits were busy. I tried to call but the call was dropped after a few seconds. Luckily the police arrived anyway. I am moving to a new apartment, and the cell phone thing is a huge part of my reasoning for the move. I've seen so many complaints about this area for all carriers. My roommates have trouble too, but not as much as I do. Get on it, mobile providers!
