AT&T 0 Out of 5 Phone Model: iPhone 3G	I get zero reception in Floyd with AT&T. I frequently travel to Floyd from Richmond. After I go through Riner, VA, for all intensive purposes I fall of the planet. My fiance has Verizon, and he gets pretty good reception most places in and around Floyd.

US Cellular 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG Wine	Very rarely do I get dropped calls. There are spots between my house and Christiansburg where service drops, and there are other spots in the county where service is poor or nil.

Verizon 1 Out of 5	Verizon had offered no reception in my house. I could walk to the far corner of my 13 acre lot, face south and stand perfectly still and talk, but no luck otherwise. My neighbor has had patchy success with US Cellular, but still better than me.

Verizon 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V120c	We live just on the fringe of Verizon reception when you're coming down 221 South toward Floyd from Check. At the top of the hill out here, you get a few seconds' signal. Another 2-3 miles later, you are good to go!
