Alltel 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG AX-4270	This is my main travel route, but service is weak in far too many areas, overall. I was happy with Alltell, but won't pay for what I don't receive... cell phone reception! I'm told that U.S. Cellular is one of the best for reception in and around the Lynchburg area. I'll be looking into them when my contract runs out here soon.

AT&T 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Nokia 6126	Zero or One Bar. The phone hardly rings but if it does and you pick up the call, you will get cut off from the other party who is calling you. I noticed the reception for AT and T has gone from bad to worse in several spots of Lynchburg, Campbell County, Forest and Bedford.

Sprint 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: Palm Treo 700p	I get good service with my phone and the Internet is lightning fast! Can't complain with sprint! Cool phones great customer service, and great phone service all around Lynchburg. Plus with the roaming agreement with Alltel I can get Alltel anytime I want by just force roaming my phone, its like the best of all worlds!

Verizon 1 Out of 5	I have Verizon and am on an extended network all the time here in Lynchburg. I will be lucky to get 1 bar at my house and if I go to the basement it dies all together. This is really bad as my phone battery is constantly needing to be charged because it spends all its time connecting and / or searching for service. Grrrr. Time to switch.
