I am not surprised that we have a hard time getting reception. Everyone wants good reception, but no one wants the towers put up that will allow for the reception to get better. Guess what folks, the companies will rent the area for which they put the towers on. Virginians need to get with the program and realize that it is the land owners that are causing the problem. The county governments, state governments and / or feds cannot stop a cell tower from going up. If you want better reception, then let the phone companies put up the towers necessary to make it better.
Alltel has some great service here, yet sometimes the calls get dropped but then you don't have to pay for a minute of service. That doesn't happen too often maybe 3 times this month per phone line(at least on our bill).
