I've had Sprint since moving to the DC area in 1998, and have always had good service at home in Manassas, all around the metro area, and on the Interstates. Signal is hit or miss in the Metro, but usually works in bigger stations. Covage is weak in outlying rural areas where some of my friends live, like between Manassas and Warrenton, but unless you go well off the beaten path, service is great. 3G works well everywhere I've been, but 4G is rare or weak.

My service is generally decent except for in my home. I have little to no understanding due to the fact that I live on the 3rd floor in an apartment building. My husbands phone is excellent (Samsung A660).

Sprint PCS was the answer to poor Manassas area reception. With antenna raised, I get excellent reception throughout Clifton. With it down, I still get calls, even inside my house. On roaming, I have seamless coverage everywhere, but it really isn't necessary. I think the key is a well designed phone for PCS. The Samsung is put together well, and seems to perform.
