Worst service you can expect from a cell phone carrier, forget the house or second floor I lose all the signals as soon as I enter to Flannigan mill rd.
Reception gets worse the farther in the subdivision you go. Can hold a conversation up 95 onto sliding hill but once you make the turn... .goodbye. At home, nothing on the first floor, some success outside and 2nd floor. Really didn't have these issues until 1 / 1 / 09 - "maybe tower contract ran out"? Battery consumption has jumped as well.
Don't get any reception in my house. Can sometimes go on the second floor and talk but get alot of dropped calls. Outside seems better but still not reliable. Can get reliable coverage all down Old Church Rd.an into Christian Ridge. Just seems to loose it as soon as I pull in the yard.
This is becoming a heavily populated area, but my calls get dropped all the time. Why can't we get another Verizon tower out here? It's ridiculous. I get great coverage everywhere else arround the Greater Richmond area, but not at my house where I have a home office.
Almost never works. Have had Nextel / Sprint and both stink. This is my work phone and it is very bad. Have Verizon also and no probs with that. Terrible customer serice too.
While there is coverage on the periphery of the Kings Charter subdivision, most of the subdivision has very poor T-Mobile coverage. In most cases, calls have to be made from outside the house and even then with deliberate positioning of the phone to achieve a decent connection.

Verizon works better in Old Mechanicsville than it does on the other side of 301. I can get perfectly talkable reception indoors (but not always digital service) and as I drive around Mechanicsville, I've never really lost a call. Atlee Station and Sliding Hill area has poor signal and calls usually have to be made outside.
