Don't get any reception in my house. Can sometimes go on the second floor and talk but get alot of dropped calls. Outside seems better but still not reliable. Can get reliable coverage all down Old Church Rd.an into Christian Ridge. Just seems to loose it as soon as I pull in the yard.

This is becoming a heavily populated area, but my calls get dropped all the time. Why can't we get another Verizon tower out here? It's ridiculous. I get great coverage everywhere else arround the Greater Richmond area, but not at my house where I have a home office.

The phone usually rings but calls get dropped all the time. I feel like I'm in one of those stupid commercials... .'you want meat on a plate?'

While there is coverage on the periphery of the Kings Charter subdivision, most of the subdivision has very poor T-Mobile coverage. In most cases, calls have to be made from outside the house and even then with deliberate positioning of the phone to achieve a decent connection.

Verizon works better in Old Mechanicsville than it does on the other side of 301. I can get perfectly talkable reception indoors (but not always digital service) and as I drive around Mechanicsville, I've never really lost a call. Atlee Station and Sliding Hill area has poor signal and calls usually have to be made outside.

Had Alltel previously and could only receive occasional coverage in driveway, never inside house. Inside signal with Verizon was only fair until last month or so. Inside signal now consistent 3 bars. New tower I guess.

I live in a fairly populated place with a number of houses and apartments and the city so close that I was disappointed with the service I got with Sprint, but I'd heard Cingular and Verizon weren't particularly better here. So I tried Alltel and the reception went from 1 bar to 5 bars. I love Alltel's service here and I don't know why it's such a problem area for other carriers. But I'm trying to spread the word and get a few of my neighbors to switch over because I've heard their complaints. But I do have a full signal at my house near studley rd and at Bon Secours where I work. I also know that my son is happy with it at Atlee HS. But all over the area here it has been really good. I'm also on the 900 min family plan and for the price, it seems like Alltel gives more minutes + my circle (unlimited to 10 numbers) which is a nice bonus others don't offer. Overall, it seems like a good plan with coverage that's a lot better than others I hear about and have tried.

I live in a large established subdivision and get virtually no reception at home. I work in northern Hanover and reception varies from zero to 4 bars. Reception was great when I lived in Henrico. According to a Cingular rep, they're working on it but Mville limits installation of new towers. I'll probably switch carriers soon, maybe to Alltel.
