Usually get 3G, but not always. All the carriers have dead spots out here, south of Warrenton and away from 28 and 29. Verizon seems to be the best of the lot for my neighborhood.

I have Verizon on my cell and my work cell has Nextel, I can't call from inside my house on Verizon, but can send a text, the Nextel is iffy at best withing a quarter mile of my house. If I stand on my back deck I can hear calls on my Verizon phone.
