In the Natural Bridge Glasgow Area of VA, Verizon (while a little more expensive) is the best all around coverage. Even though it has several dead spots it is far fewer than US Cellular or Nextel, which are the only other 2 carriers with any reasonable coverage in the area. US Cellular has improved a good deal recently since they now roam on Verizon towers but it's frustrating because you have to dial area code when hitting a Verizon tower with a US Cellular phone. In this area Verizon is the only choice for as near as you can get to full service in most all areas of Rockbridge County, VA.
