This being a moderate to highly trafficked area during the winter months for skiing, it has poor reception. I am a local and experience a good amount of difficulty in the county in general. With the exception of US 29. There is some kind of communications tower being built in Stoney Creek-would greatly improve coverage here. Anyone know any details?

Being right beside a resort, this area has below average reception to say the least. The towers used at the top of the mountain must be VERY short range. I live right below the resort and don't get squat for service.

I get greate reception. I am on the "extended network" meaning that I am roaming, but free roaming is included with I think all of Verizon's plans.

Because of mountainous terrain reception can be spotty. Reception coming from from Nellysford up to the mountain is non existent. Reception works well on most of the mountain and slopes. Average (3 bar) coverage in Nellysford although no coverage at Lake Monocan. Signal on the mountain can alternate between digital and analog.
