I would like to find a cell phone that works on Route 615; travel that road all the time and b / f works there. We can never get a call out on Route 615 from Orange up to Route 29. We got these phones to use in emergencies, but they don't work where we need them. Verizon supposedly has the best network in this area. Also, Route 15 between Orange and Gordonsville is another dead zone. Any suggestions as to what phone or carrier will work in this critical area?? My Verizon contract is up and I want to get a phone that works this time.

Signal inside of Orange is perfect. Signal tends to get a little worse towards Unionville, and there is very little signal towards Gordonsville on Rt. 15, and it is essentially impossible to place a call along 231 to Charlottesville. I suppose that's normal though - no provider I know of gets coverage through that area.
