River Rd in Matoca T-Mobile reception is bad, on a Samsung and nokia. Nash road, bad to none. Hickory Rd, bad to none, my house on River rd, Ok if outside, bad to none, mostly none.
With Vzw we can pull around 1-2- bars in the front of the house but in the bedroom it's a no go. Drops calls randomly but not frequently. Driving throughout the area it's quite spotty at times also. Had a AT&T phone for a while and it seemed to pull in 3-5 bars of 3G but not sure on call quality these days.
In a big square west of I-95 just south of Rives Rd.to Crater Rd.and down to Wagner Rd.the reception is pretty poor. Calls are hard to understand and about 75% are dropped.
Signal is pitiful at Petersburg High School, even outside. Usually, there is no signal. Even when there is a signal, it is weak. My work Nextel had full bars, except when inside. Cingular needs to raise the bar in Va.
Only 1 week into trial use. Will cancel contract. Nice phone, works great out on highways but drops calls at home.Suncom dropping took forever "can you hear me?-hello" and you get frustrated and hang up to use land line but Sprint and Samsung will go silent for a couple of seconds and beep to let you know it dropped, convenient, but dropped. Still searching for solution.
