Great coverage in Pulaski, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Narrows, Pearisburg - occasionally have a dropped call on curves when driving. Other than that, almost perfect. Have used Verizon for 6 year in NRV.
Reception is usually fairly good, but, I experience several dropped calls per week with reception better than three. The data plan with US Cellular is very slow, quite a task to use. My next contract will be with Sprint or Verizon.
Great reception all along Route 11 and I-81, all the way from Roanoke to Wytheville / I-77 interchange. If you get more than a few miles off the major roads, coverage probably drops off fast. I've lived here 6 months and not a single dropped call.
