I moved to this location about four miles south of Short Pump Town Center from Northern Virginia last weekend. I'm going to have to break my contract and change carriers, because the service is virtually unusable inside my second-floor, wood-frame apartment using either of our two (different model) phones, and also at my office near Jefferson Davis Hwy. and Route 288. I can only get service if I go outside. Two phone resets (supposed to make the phone recognize the nearest roaming tower) have had no effect.

We have two Nextel phones that work perfectly in and around our house in Westover Hills.

This service is spotty at best. I can't get reception at work, and I always drop calls in about 10 minutes call time.

In my neighborhood there is absolutely no reception from Sprint. Even when out of the house, I still average at least one dropped call per day.

I live in the River Lofts, and the reception... well, what reception. I have to go out of my apartment and almost outside of my apartment building to talk on my phone.

If i'm lucky I get 1 bar.

Calls drop all the time. Phone shows that I have full signal but call will not go through frequently. Verizon has always been good to me until I got this phone.

Everytime I get to the intersection of Iron Bridge Rd and Walmsley Blvd, I lose signal.

Sometimes fluctuates from 3-5 bars, but have never had a dropped call in the Fan yet.

Switched from Sprint a couple of years ago. Coverage was good but, continuosly dropped calls. Coverage is good. Very few dead spots when in the car or outside. Signal strength in buildings could be stronger. Otherwise, hardly ever drop a call and we only use cell phones, usually other persons phone and carrier.
