Switched from Sprint a couple of years ago. Coverage was good but, continuosly dropped calls. Coverage is good. Very few dead spots when in the car or outside. Signal strength in buildings could be stronger. Otherwise, hardly ever drop a call and we only use cell phones, usually other persons phone and carrier.

2 blocks from a tower and poor reception in my home? 3rd phone is now offering "somewhat" better reception. Looking for a new carrier when my contract is up.

Well let me start off by saying I am a teenage girl who loves to talk to her friends and fellow classmate and using Virgin mobil is not helping. Every month a waste my mothers money by purchasing a 20$ phone card which will soon be eaten up. My argument with the prepaid issue is it when you run low on minutes your phone just turns off, what iff one day I am a situation where I need to use my cell ohone but I have no minutes left. Every time I purchase a 20$ phone card I could be sa nving money for a contract which would let me talk free nights and weekends.

T-Mobile works just fine. Everyone who puts comments on here are just mad about not getting reception in specific spots. For the most part, I get great reception everywhere in Richmond. I can understand the frustration with no reception in your house, so test it out before you purchase the phone! For the price and comparable reception to Verizon and Cingular, you can't beat T-Mobile.
