The best customer service and great coverage... I drive all over Roanoke and Salem every day and never lose a call.

Have had 3 other cell carriers and Verizon has been by far the best.

I have been very happy with my service, I havn't found a better cell phone co. in this area to even compare with Verizon.

I have had several carriers here in Southwest Virginia, and there hasn't been another that has provided me the coverage that my Verizon Wireless phone has. The sales rep told me that if I changed from my last provider it was like buying the BMW over the Kia. Sounded a little cheesy, but I can whole heartedly agree with what he said now. From my experience, Verizon Wireless is head and shoulders better than anything else that I've tried.

Verry happy with Verizon. No echoes, no static, no dropped calls. Been using Verizon for 4 years in Roanoke now.

Mostly good service, there are a few areas around town where I'll drop to 1 to 2 bars, but I can still make calls and browse the web. AT&T is no good here, but Sprint keeps up very well with Verizon.

My phone coverage, even when surrounded by lots of brick buildings (commercial, residential and religious) has been pretty good. Doesn't matter whether I'm driving in the neighborhood, near the mall, the airport or even downtown, the reception is consistent and reliable. Verizon delivers.

Receive full bar coverage here at 460 near the Wal-mart in Bonsack. As well as airport area in a basement. Even still had two bars going though the Tunnels at the Airport!

Too many dropped calls. Way too unacceptable for such an expensive plan

I am on the 2nd floor of an office building and get dropped calls and poor reception constantly. All co-workers have other cell phone providers without this problem. I have had dropped calls near Bonsack area as well, but otherwise ok service. I wouldn't have expected this out of at&t... good thing I'm in the 1st week of my 30 day trial! I'll try it out for another week, but looks like I'll be cancelling service at this point.

Dropped calls like rain falling??? What in the world? I've been with ATT for over 10 yrs and this year has been absolutely lousy. Now trying to find out if Sprint or Verizon are best. Sprint has a new 30-day plan, where you can give them a try for that time, and return everything if it doesn't work.

Cell signal fluctuated between 0 and 2 bars, but still couldn't connect a call in this area. Very poor reception for a company claiming to have the best coverage!

Rarely have cell phone reception and even then it's usually only one bar. Calls to my cell frequently go straight to voice mail when I'm at home because there's no reception.

The worst. You can have coverage going one way down a road and on the return trip (same road) have nothing, nada, zip. You get very spotty notification on voice mail and unless you like standing outside to make and receive your calls, then pass this one by. Me, I like to use the phone inside buildings, too.

I am on vacation in South Mytle Beach and I have no phone connection down here, it want let me place calls out or receive calls what's up with that. Cheryl Claytor

AT&T is the worst cell phone company I've had to deal with. Turn onto Route 311 and the phone is useless. Also the most dropped calls of any network! Days left on my contract and I'm out of their.

my phone stopped getting decent reception inside my building three months ago; I understand this deterioration affects the entire campus, yet Sprint refuses to acknowledge any problem. Switching phones has yielded no improvement, but T-Mobile and Verizon reception is fine.
