EVDO REV A broadband signal. This is the fringe area and it works. 1meg down 1 / 2 meg up. Hoepfully it will be better with external antenna and amplifier / repeater installation.
I'll admit that I signed up with Alltel mainly because their plans were a better deal than Verizon and I loved the My Circle feature because most of my calling is to landlines. But I was surprised at how good the service is here around Smithfield even on the backroads. I have signal absolutely everywhere and anywhere, even indoors, but it does drop a bar inside usually but I've heard others do the same and my house is brick. But my phone never reads no service and I can make or receive a call anywhere and it sounds fine.
