Near the 610 area, reception is average, good amount of the time you only get EDGE coverage, but on days and spots you'll get 3G or H(3.5G / HSDPA) or 4G reception. Once you hit mt.view road, no service, like wtf. I could be in a dying emergency and T-Mobile would be no help.

Many dead spots in the backroads of Stafford County. Mountain View High School is right on the edge of coverage area. Great service, when it works, but unfortunately we're probably going to go with Verizon.

T-mobile pay as you go plan. We are near the edge of T-Mobile's coverage map so most of the time there is no signal on the backroads around the Mountain View / Hartwood area. Spotty coverage on I-95. It's a shame, too, because it's so nice not having a contract or having to pay $1 to use your phone that day. We loved our T-Mobile service in Illinois.

If traveling west from I95 on Rt610, T-Mobile coverage drops 8-10 miles out as you pass Rt644 (Rockhill Church Road).

I travel all over the US for my job, but this rating will focus on "at home calls" first. In Aquia Harbour, with all of the hilly areas, the reception can be a bit sketchy, but overall performance even in my house is acceptable. As for travel, I have been out of service only once and we travel to some pretty remote places. Sometimes 20-or so miles off the beaten path. Verizon, you could do better, but you doing alright. BTW - my field is the RF spectrum.
