Consistently bad reception. Consistently dropped calls. Phone turns off randomly. Will not be a Sprint customer after my two years is up.

A few years ago I couldn't get a signal inside the house. I would have to go outside to get a signal. Now I am able to get two bar signal and have OK reception inside the house. It seems that Cingular is trying to improve signal strength since I am not aware of any changes to the area's topography.

Work good at the house, minimal service fluctuations. Service gets cut out around the west end of Quantico and on the backroads headed to Warrenton.

Frequent drops calls with the Samsung. Older Nokia phone worked better. Other cell phone users on the block say Verizon works best.

If traveling west from I95 on Rt610, T-Mobile coverage drops 8-10 miles out as you pass Rt644 (Rockhill Church Road).

I travel all over the US for my job, but this rating will focus on "at home calls" first. In Aquia Harbour, with all of the hilly areas, the reception can be a bit sketchy, but overall performance even in my house is acceptable. As for travel, I have been out of service only once and we travel to some pretty remote places. Sometimes 20-or so miles off the beaten path. Verizon, you could do better, but you doing alright. BTW - my field is the RF spectrum.

Cingular is the only provider that will work once you drive 5 miles or more west of I-95 on Garrisonville Rd ( Route 610). Most of the time you get a signal even in the most remote areas as you drive west on Route 610 up toward Manassas.
