I have full bars on my phone,even when iI am in my walk-out basement.No Problem at all Love LG and ATT

I've lived here for about 9 months and hadn't had a problem with coverage in this area yet. I consistently have full 3G coverage. Coverage all through Northern VA seems pretty good. Very few times do I not have 3G coverage, and in those cases I generally have pretty good EDGE coverage.

Had Verizon and my daughter has T-mobile. Neither worked in the Cascades area, but Nextel is solid full strength, even in the basement of the house.

Very Good reception in Cascades. Noticed brief drop-out s in Lowe's Island region.

I haven't had a single problem with this phone in this area. I want to move to GSM service so that I can use my phone when I travel internationally. But given the troubles people have with Cingular and T-Mobile in this area, it doesn't seem worth the trouble. Sigh.

Sprint PCS has the best service in the DC area in my view. If you're having problems getting a signal, I used to also. Until I switched to a Sanyo Sprint PCS Phone. Sanyo spends the most time working with Sprint to make their phones. Samsung, LG, Motorola, they all suck with Sprint. Stay with Sprint and get a Sanyo.

I switched from Sprint to Verizon not long ago. The Verizon service is much better. The Motorola phone is great! I can even use the phone in my basment.

Decent coverage here, even inside buildings.

Good reception all around. However a significant rise in mysteriously dropped calls (with 4+ bars!) since the end of November '04.

Good reception even in any spot inside my house. Also very good reception all the way back into Algonkian Park.

So far the ONLY place where I struggle for a signal is my neighborhood (old Sterling). All other areas the reception is between 80 to 100%

Other providers in this area can get three bars at times and in some areas no bars at all.Sugarland Run Living area doesn't have a tower that I know of.

Had Sprint for years. Works great on Broad Run Dr. and Youngs Cliff Rd, however it drops calls on Persimmon (behind hill) traveling into Countryside. Does not work at the 3 schools along Algonkian Pkwy.

I just bought a Droid and I can never get reception out near Dulles. I'm not sure if it's the radar towers. This really bothers me whenever I am trying to work from home while sitting at a McDonald's or a Starbucks. I'm not sure what happened here but it isn't good. RonnieMac

Cingular Store (irony, thy name is Cingular) in Cascades Marketplace and Starbucks across the street - 1-2 bars. Cingular coverage map claims "Best" reception in this area, but only a small percentage of open areas actually deliver 3 or more bars.

No reception in home... hardly available in many parts of East and West Loudoun. Lousy service.

Reception is only possible in the backyard (sometimes) and occasionally on the 3rd floor of our house. Very poor coverage. Even though a cell tower just went up a block away!

Extremely poor reception. Don't even bother making calls unless i'm on the Balcony or a certain corner of the house. This area needs a Cell tower badly.

No bars. Sometimes rings, but intermittent voice, so I wind up calling back on the land line. Can only make calls from one corner of my deck. Also lose calls along the Pkwy. Have no idea who to switch to!

Potomac Garden Apartments, Sugarland. 2 bars at best, indoors and outdoors, and generally lousy service indoors. Ironically, Cingular's coverage map says this is a "Best" reception area. Must drive well south and west to get decent reception, so I generally leave the phone off at home.
