At various places in my house and around the Town of Vienna I have no or very poor reception. I do not have this problem any other place I roam.

Around August of 2005, I start use T-Mobile and no reception in my house. I have to get out of the house to use my cell phone, however, line drop frequently. I called and complained to T-Mobile and now I have 3 to 4 bar of signal in my house. So far I am happy with my cell reception.

can use the phone upstairs, although it drops calls after 15 minutes. Can't use id downstairs. Reception dandy if I go to the corner

Good signal at home and work, but many poor reception spots around the house, Tyson's, I66... Had Verzon for few years and enjoyed better reception, but hated dealing with them and was limitted to ohone options. Also, wanted a GSM Phone / Service for travel. Not many other options, though, since the rest (SPrint, T-Mobile, etc. aren't better.) Not sure what will I do next!

My house has decent reception. The problem is I66, inside the Beltway to past Falls Church-it constantly drops. It also drops on I395 near Glebe and on the Beltway near Little River. As these are where I drive often, I average 1 dropped call per call. Different phones do not help. I'm dropping Cingular.

Terrible reception - just moved back to DC area from San Francisco which has pretty decent Cingular coverage (except in areas blocked by the hills). Looks like Verizon is the best in northern VA / DC? A cool, slick phone is useless if the reception sucks.

Terrible reception in and around this area; maybe it's low altitude. also phone is lousy; going to try a magnet antenna truckers use.

Verizon is very reliable and works almost everywhere in the DC area... including the Metro! Unfortunately, my company has decided to contract with Sprint and T-Mobile. I have had Sprint before -- it was bad, not working in any buildings. I may go with T-Mobile just to not have to deal with Sprint and their (lack of) customer service. When I was with them, I tried for 4 months to get my employee discount, they kept promising it was done... and the next bill wouldn't include the discount. Of course, they have no way to make it retro-active! I finally gave up and went back to Verizon.

Verizon - great reception, stinky phones...

Connection consistently drops at this intersection. I don't get a signal at my house which is about a mile away from this interestion. There is also no reception anywhere on Vale Rd.

There are at least 3 dead zones along Hunter Mill Rd. as well as 1 along Lawyers Rd. Very frustrating. Just when you think it's safe to redial a dropped you are dropped again.

Excellent coverage even in buildings.

Have had Verizon Wireless for years and have had little to no connection issues all over the DC metro area and even across the country. I switched to Sprint PCS at one point to try and get a better deal but had a terrible time keeping a signal and switched back to Verizon 3 weeks later. Wish Verizon supported smartphones like the Treo, however.

Often can't use Sprint in or near my house in Dunn Loring / Merrifield area. Get zero of one bar. Other parts of Fairfax County also problematic. Calls drop on the beltway near the Dulles Access Rd.

Barely have signal at this location.

Too many dropped calls. Sometimes voice mail signal alerts me to message that came in a minute before without my phone ever ringing.

Terrible reception in the Dunn-Loring / Merrifield section of Vienna. Can only use Sprint sporadically in my house or surrounding streets.
