Been with Sprint for about 5 yrs now, and the last yr has been HORRIBLE. I am shopping around now trying to switch carriers. I don't receive phone calls at all. People will call me asking why I haven't called them and I have no notifications that anyone called. This has been an ongoing issue now for months.Was this review helpful to you?

Is there a way to get credit an still get stuck with an outrageous amount? Sprint will do that just for you. I signed up in October 2014. Their poster was so... attractive four lines for $100.00! Can you imagine ? Papa, Mama, Junior and daddy's little girl with brand new phones, talking, texting ! Let's not forget 4G! It was done I walked in with my disabled veteran husband who can barely walk and is almost blind to the Sprint store. I was happy but skeptical. Nevertheless I managed to get my husband inside. Me and the kids are looking at the phones and we are just trying to get someone to help us. Here comes Andy, a fast talking young guy with a short buzz haircut chewing gum. I asked " How can we get four lines for $100.00 a month? Of course Andy was busy trying to answer me and other customers. Pacing back and forth and chewing his gum. Well basically Andy explains " You buy the phones and just pay $100.00 a month" Now the happy family with 4 new cell phones goes down the drain. I don't know you but I just can't afford to pay for four brand new phones. Last time I checked we live from my husband's retirement and that didn't seem like a good idea. But we had our old cell phones. Iphones 4. Well Andy tells me how he can buy one of them for $80.00 and the other one for almost $80. 00 or use it towards accessories. Well it started to turn around. I did ask Andy about activation fees. Answer :none. Next: ok how do I get new phones? I wasn't interested in an Iphone 6. But wait Andy tells me how I can get a new tablet for free! Now I become interested. The plan with 4 Iphones 5c and the tablet was going to be around $260.00 plus tax. Reluctantly I accept. The old phones were being left there to transfer the information to the new ones. So far I was happy. Andy told me to bring my old bill from my last cell phone carrier to him. I managed to bring my husband out of the car all tired and in pain since he need it his medication. My teenagers were starving! I run to my old cell phone carrier's office and ask for the bill. I managed to eat and two hours later I come back to pick up my new phones! Ready? This is went everything goes to ****. Fast talking chewing gum kid not around! The store was full of people some of them fuming because they were not getting 4G at all. Others were just mad about something else. This is when you as a customer should take notes! This customers are not the exception but the rule of how Sprint operates. They should use their money instead of shiny posters and commercials to train their employees. Andy had left. Keeping somewhere... .. the paperwork and worst yet they couldn't transfer the old phone numbers to the new ones. My daughter was having a panic attack. I was slowly but surely feeling my blood boil. But I stuck around and asked for Andy. Nowbody new where he was and worst they could'nt tell me why they couldn't transfer the old numbers to the new ones!. Very frustrated I leave and come back the next day. Well when I finally see Andy amazingly... he couln't even tell me himself why the old cell phone numbers couldn't be transferred to the new cell phones. By now I have an appointment at the VA hospital for my husband which was an hour away. I was so tired that I said to my self [Conent removed] let me get the new cell phones new numbers and all! . Again no activation fee and the bill around $260.00 plus tax. I did not request insurance on the phones since it was going to be like $12.00 each. So I left... ... . This is where you need a calculator and be good in math. If not you can stop reading this. It was October when I signed up. Not even a week later I get my first bill ready??? Wait for it. wait for it... ..$637.49 ! woo !I I was shocked the month wasn't over it was a week later. I guess that is their welcome package to let you know how it's going to be for you. I was mortified. It turn's out that they had prorated two days, charged me activation fees. Hold on chewing gum Andy said no activation fee and I specified no I did not want insurance. Well if you are like me I started calling Sprint ghost customer service department. Yes Ghost department because it's not for real. You get transferred from one place to the other and finally after I emailed them I get a call from someone supposedly from corporate. This representative apologized, sympathized with me. My heart was warm again . But at the end the charges where going to stick and he couldn't do anything about it. Prorated charges for two days. This when if you as a company don't care will have someone from your company telling something like " Yes you should have inquired about the prorated charges"... I went to the store where I got my phones. I had to sit down with an assistant manager who finally said" Andy needs more training is not the first complaint we get" The adjustments were for the very first bill that by the way October wasn't even over. Here is the adjustments : $144.00, $61.53, $39.73 a total of $245.26 adjusted. Minus that to the $637.49 leaving me with $392.23. Which I paid. My new bill in November was of $296.04.. I pay in December 9, $281.05 I pay in January $377.13. In my calculations yes it is short for $14.99. New new bill for $721.07. Reflecting a previous balance of $658.18. Remember that I had an adjustment of $245. 26 bringing my bill down to $392.23 which I paid in October and the new amount was $296.04. Which I paid $281.05 leaving me with an unpaid balance of $14.99. This when I need the math wizards is your head spinning yet? January 7th,2015 I pay $377.13. Today is February 17th,2015. I have paid a total of $1050.41 cents. As of know I got services interrupted since I owe according to their bill $ 706.82. I called their billing department and I got the international department. The representative asked what is the problem ? I ask very clearly for the billing department. Guess what my luck was she was also in billing! I asked for a supervisor and she tells me again what is the problem. I told her a need a supervisor. Here comes Brian. No last name. I asked for a last name and get this Brian told me that he is not allowed to give a last name. Seriously I can talk to a manager live in a store but Brian can't give me a last name since it's a regulation. Very tired now I explain my situation and guess what? Brian went back with me as far back in October. It seems the adjustment in October has no big impact on this mess. But he did give me a user id number. Supposedly he escalated the case to his desk. Wao so here I am with services interrupted in a snow storm that hit my state and owing $706.82. And this ladies and gentlemen is the new Math that allows Sprint to charge and charge and leave your bank account empty. With prorated charges for my daughter's line. Welcome to Sprint! Here is an update! I got a call from Tony no last name again. But I did ask for an userid which she gave me. After going through all of the bills back in January I had to put my daughter's line on hold since she couldn't find her phone. We found it the next day. I asked for the line to be active again. It was not suspended. Guess what?? I had some prorated charges on that line and the free tablet which I pay $35.00 a month and not $30. 00 as I was told. Tony adjusted the $19.00 or so of that line and I know owe $313.93! Plus the new February payment! What ever happened to $260.00 plus tax. I won't get my services back until I pay $313.93. I constantly have dropped calls. I have to walk around my house or even outside to complete a call. I have been with Sprint for 12 years now... I think it is time to switch to a new carrier!Was this review helpful to you?
Between Poor and Below Average. I get 1 bar within my home of 4GLTE but if I step outside I will get 3 to 4 bars of 4GLTE. Have to use WIFI while in my home. If I step into any store 10 to 20 feet I lose coverage all together. Signal strength falls severely while within ANY structure. I rated AT&T a "1 Poor" because they literally are in this are. And when I say "in this area," I don't just mean the location where my home is, but a majority of the lower Hampton Roads area. Here where I live, I have never seen even 4 bars of signal. When I go to the VB campus of TCC, you are very lucky to see even 2 bars. Most of the time in class, my phone says "no signal." It's very frustrating. Around town, I rarely see 4 bars and I've NEVER seen 5 anywhere in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, or Chesapeake. So my wife and I have agreed to dump AT&T right away. We do like AT&T for one reason - you can be on the phone and browse the Internet, look up a phone number, or use navigation all at the same time. Verizon doesn't even allow you to do that with an iPhone - yet.Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint has always been marginal compared to friends with other carriers in the area. Now, with their rebuild; it's been horrible for the past few months. Customer Service will give you the run around. Completely unreliable. Do not be enticed with cheaper rates - you get what you pay for! I will change carriers as soon as I have the ETF covered.Was this review helpful to you?

Att is very poor in the area. Next time I will get Verizon since they seem to cover everywhere. AT&T has dead spots in too many areas to feel comfortable with them.Was this review helpful to you?
