For the first time, my iPhone said "no service" inside Croakers. Looking up the towers online, there's a Cingular tower not that far away on Page Avenue. Do some restaurants use some kind of device to block cell phone signals since they don't want them used in the restaurant? Just curious...

Works fine at Shore Dr.drops off near beach. Signal fluctuates wildly in my home. I must go to the second floor to get a signal. Has a habit of not ringing and fifteen seconds later you are informed you have a voice mail. 710 has a bad charging connection. It connects by two small pins that are very close together. If the phone is not flat or the charging cord has any strain against it, the charging connection is severed and the phone does not charge. Its address book is also strange. Instead of storing all the numbers under one contact name it records each number as a seperate contact so you must scroll through an excessivly long list even within a particular alpha lookup.

4-5 bars then drop in neighborhood near water / river.

Sucks big time! I was an Altell customer for years with no problems then got switched to Verizon. I went from good coverage in my home to zip point nothing coverage once Verizon took over. After many calls and store visits and new phones I was told I just had to live with it. After one rather long and heated phone call to Verison a supervisor made my voice mail disapear for two weeks before anyone could figure it out and get it back on line. Of course the name and employee number he gave me were false. I finally went with Sprint and haven't looked back much better plans, much cheaper, better service, billing that anyone can understand, and best of all a cell phone that works in my house again. This only cost me about an extra $550.00 for contract buyouts and new Verizon phones that Verizon said would solve my problems but didn't. For my money it's Sprint all the way.

Verizon works very well nationwide (I travel frequently). The only dead zone I have found unfortunately is my house in Lagomar. Looking at the tower locations, hopefully when they combine Alltel and Verizon towers it will get better since Alltel Tower is close.

Courthouse Estates / Indian River Plantation - Frequent dropped calls... lots or please repeats during calls... terrible! ATT please fix this!

I have have Tmob for like 5 years now and it has been outstanding, there are a few buildings were I loose signal but other than that it has been amazing for me. customer service is the best. i think the last time I dropped a call was when I was in Lewisberg PA but I was roaming off At&T...

I lose coverage at least 2 times during my short 10 mile commute in Virgnia Beach. I'm so glad my contract with Sprint is up.

1 to 2 bars at best, have written Cingular and complained; never heard back, Store looked up my area and said I had a weak signal, nothing they could do about it. Have tried Sprint phones, still weak signal, I'm going to drop ATT and do to GOphone just to have in car.
