Coverage is good, very few dropped calls, although software updates seem to be constant. If your phone is a year or older, trouble is guaranteed, and requires a trip to the store. Staunton in-store customer service is awful. Uninformed, condesending employees, "greeters" herding customers at the door like cattle for next available associate, (6 people waiting in area maybe 5' x 5' for 2 associates, additional customers couldn't even open the door!), no on-site service techs, and employees are unfamiliar with products sold. No help at all for my problem. Call in tech support says one thing for a fix, store employee says something else, neither works. It's the 8 month old phone, not the software update! So why did it work fine until Alltel forced it to update the software??? (So you'd have to buy a new phone and extend your almost expired contract???hmmm, you think?) BEWARE! BUY the insurance! Or, keep the screen protector film on it forever because normal wear / tear scratches void Alltel phone warranties. Coverage and prices are good. Equipment, customer service and tech support leave a lot to be desired.
