Boost mobile (Nextel network) is fairly good IN TOWN. However, when I wasn't able to make or receive calls about a month ago, I spoke with customer service (phone) then technical. Both people assured me it wasn't the network, their towers were fine. They suggested I take the phone to the nearest Boost / Sprint store. The problem was that my gf was having the SAME EXACT PROBLEMS here in Winchester, but NOT near Dulles. Customer Service and Technical didn't want to hear it. Sprint store (Boost) off E Jubal Early told us there was nothing they could do, they suggested we take phones to Manassas. Screw that. Screw Boost Mobile. Now a month later, phones are fine. No one called back to tell us THEY were crazy NOT us.

I almost always have 5 full bars in and around Winchester. Service starts to get spotty when venturing out into more rural areas...

I've never had any dropped calls or bad / low signal.

Sprint PCS affiliate Shentel, provides excellent wireless coverage in Winchester, VA. There is coverage in most of Winchester, including te downtown area and all places near the Apple Blossom Mall. A Sprint store located near Jubal Early Dr.provides exceptional Customer service support. No other carrier can claim great coverage in Winchester, VA.

Never had a problem. Most areas have between 4 and 5 bars. Depending on building, indoor reception can vary, but I've been able to successfully complete calls with as little as one bar. Anytime I've lost a signal, it's in an area where Verizon customers have had no signal either. I'm not happy with the possibility of ATT taking over T-Mobile. Lastly, you can't beat their prices!

Reception is fine in all buildings on campus.

Have to "trick" phone into digital roam to get reception. Sprint's very poor in our area, but don't know of anyone better.

1 year ago recption was zero, getting better but still not good

I don't know if my house is a dead zone, but I live in the center of town, sitting in my room talking on the phone if I turn my head I loose reception. Very annoying! My boyfriend lives in Yellow Springs, and there's only service in the driveway. I hate this service. I'm looking for new service.

No reception with AT&T in Stonebrook - really. Several different phones show between 0 and 1 bar intermittently.

Simply terrible services from Sprint in the Mountain Falls Area. Verizon barely works, and the rest fall into the same slot as sprint. They just suck !

at times may indicate one bar of reception, but you'll be lucky if you can actually place the call. if you do, then it breaks up or drops the call altogether.
