My phone is always dropping calls, and gettting staticky. When I dial a number it says "Retry" Not getting T-Mobile again unless they put up more towers. I've very dissapointed with them.

I get reception for the most part of Woodbridge so long as the area is flat. Once I get to hilly areas, I get no reception at all. I live off Minnieville when you pass Spriggs, and I don't get reception at all. I'd have to drive a mile to get some.

Reception around the Woodbridge / Potomac Mills area is very hit and miss. I have little to no reception at home 60%-70% of the time. When I do have reception, it has a lot of noise. Does anyone know if there's anything that can be mounted around the house to help pull the signal in?

Had Verizon, switched to Cingluar. Same phone with each company. Here's the breakdown of each: Verizon Pros: Great reception everywhere (Huge Pro!) Verizon Cons: The worst customer service of ANY COMPANY EVER! (Huge con cause the bill is ALWAYS messed up which is another con) More expensive than cingular No rollover, $.45 / min over really adds up Cingular Pros: Rollover minutes are a lifesaver! My bill is always the same, never more than I signed up for. Good customer service, not great... good. Cingular Cons: Does 5-0 in 60 sec. In other words, like someone else said, I can go from 5 full bars to 0 and have the call dropped while stationary at any time of day no matter where I am. I could be next to one of their towers and lose a call. This is not all the time... seems like some days is just fine. It's like a box of chocolates, never know what you're gonna get. So it boils down to this... you either take great reception with crappy everything else. Or you can have kinda crappy reception, but not deal with the headache when the bill comes. Like they say, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

I don't see why everybody else complains about Verizon Wireless reception. To me, it's probably their phone that gives them their "crappy" or "this sucks" reception. I always have either 4 bars of signal or full 5 bars. In my home, I have full signal all the time. And at school, where everybody's phone doesn't have signal, I have at least 2 bars. I couldn't be more satisfied with this service. My phone is a Motorola V710, probably one of the latest or newer technologies, which probably affects the reception, but I don't know. The phone is amazing and the signal is amazing. If you have a pretty sturdy phone, I definitely recomment VZW!

At&T rarely will get better than 2 bars and less in my home. I had a Motorola 200 Smart phone and threw it out the window while driving. AT&T shouldn't even have a right to sell such poor service. With Cingular it is no better. It is worth the price to cancel the contract and get Verizon. No service is no service no matter what they say or charge.

Between Darbydale and US 95 (approx 2 miles) there are two locations signal is dropped. Between Dale Blvd and Manassas on the Prince William Parkway there are several areas of no signal. In my house there is little to no signal unless I am standing outside. When phones are used for business it is important to have a signal at all times.

Major power lines crossing the area appear to totally remove signal.
