Funny thing: the phone shows 4-5 bars but has no receptions and will not make calls. Also, off Waybury Rd. / Colchester Pt. Rd.- no reception.

People here and elsewhere claim that Unicel and Nokia are good, but I get no bars in my office with Unicel and a Nokia 6085h, whereas my officemate has no problems making calls with a cheapo Jitterbug service and phone. I think a lot has to do with what tower your service connects to.

Had no service to call out on, could receive incoming calls but they were almost immediately dropped.

Reception poor in buildings and across much of campus.

No reception from Burlington to St. Albans None in airport None in Sheldon None in Fairfax None in Sheldon

If I'm lucky I can get 2 bars but one is the norm and even if you start with 2 it usually drops to 1 and the call usually drops soon after.

Calls tend to drop in this area. There has been a slight improvement but it shouldn't be a problem in Burlington.

Great Alltell Reception throughout Vermont. Interstate 91 and 89, Hiway 7 and throughout Burlington area. National Freedom Plan so no roaming charges...

No coverage from any network anywhere in Burlington, or down to Shelburne. Also tried Treo 600, also no good.

I live in Massachusetts and visit family in the Burlington area once every couple of months. I thought I had absolutely no reception in the entire state of Vermont until I recently took a different way home and had reception for about a 5 mile radius near Killington. That is the only time my T-Mobile phone has ever worked in Vermont. The coverage map on T-mobile's site claims to have roaming coverage in Vermont, especially around Burlington and Montpelier, but I've never had service up there.
