Unicel activated another new cell site in northern VT a couple weeks ago. Rinker's Communications is trying to build a 200 foot tower on top of Bridgeman Hill, but in the mean time, Unicel strapped an antenna to the wood pole that he still has up there. For the first time in history, the Town Meeting moderator had to warn people about taking calls during the Town Meeting! I signed up with Unicel solely because they had the best coverage in Vermont, so I am extremely dismayed to hear that AT&T is getting Unicel's VT coverage. But Verizon is worse if only because they still use the ancient CDMA tech, and not GSM.
