I have had Sprint for a week and had Nextel before and my Nextel was sooo much better in Stowe!

Used to be able to receive a weak but usable signal until beginning of July. Now there is no signal at all and Verizon doesn't have an answer.

Coverage is great compared to other providers. I get reception almost everywhere in town - as opposed to my Verizon friends who can't get service anywhere north of the village on 108. Overall in VT I get very few dead zones. Even with two bars I can make a call, but I usually get a better signal than that. Customer service is great. I wish they would stay up with the curve in regard to features and phones, but I have an unlocked treo that they don't offer so it's ok. They just always seem to be a little behind in things. Cingular uses Unicel towers so when I travel I'm usually on Cingular.

I will have 1 or 2 bars of service, but then go to make a call and reception is lost. No voice, but still a connection!?? Very annoying.

No digital coverage at all at the Resort. Only coverage in-town.

Even with a tri-system phiones, very bad reception

Carrier UNICEL (not on list above) has a tower on Weeks Hill and is good throughout town. Some random spots don't work like near Gilcrist Road.

Very spotty, lots of RF echos. Moved three feet and got some signal (enough to make a call). Moved 2 ft. and signal disappeared.

customer service lies. Service was discontinued without notcie for blackberries. they'll waste your time for hours but never tell you the truth. most dispicable company in america

Great coverage on Rt108 at Stowe Ski Resort. Lost coverage into the "notch" (Rt108 N). Coverage spotty in Downtown Stowe, especially inside buildings. Tower is NOT on Mt Mansfield, but on one of the foot hills nearby the ski area. Nextel could do well to put a small site Downtown. Decent coverage in Waterbury as well.
