AT&T 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Apple iPhone 3G	We switched to AT&T because Verizon was so bad in this area. AT&T is worse! Their detail coverage map shows 'superior' coverage here but we get marginal reception with about 40% of our calls dropped. At least 50% of our incoming calls go to voicemail (eventually) even though we are here and the phone is on. The worst part is that we are 400' from Lake Champlain with clear sight of all the towers around St. Albans only 5 miles away as the crow flies. Neighbours in the area confirm similar reception.

Verizon 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: lg xv3200	Verizon Service stinks in the Village of Swanton, Vermont. Forget about making calls inside your home, you have to be standing on the sidewalk to even try.
