Up here visiting family and every night around 9-9:30 VZW service (indoors) is awful. Both my iPhone and MiFi 2200 just about die. Dropped calls on the iPhone and dial-up speed (if any) on the MiFi. What the heck VZW?

Reception is horrible! Often NO reception at all. Even if I go outside and walk around the neighborhood. Calls are dropped routinely and if I have reception it is every other word.

I've been with AT&T(Cingular) for over 6 years, using only cellphones(a land line became obsolete), and have yet to have any problems with dropped calls or signal problems in this area. Be it inside my home, stores, the Supermall, or even inside the casino itself(with all those electronics running). While my roommates' Sprint phones have had trouble with signal in both the mall and casino, I still had strong signal at all. I love the rollover minutes, but it's specifically because of their strong calling coverage that I've stayed with them for so long(if that ever goes anywhere for too long, so do I... lol).

ATT / Apple have swapped out my iPhone twice to make sure I was not experiencing hardware failure. I took my phone to Apple recently and they performed diagnostic tests on coverage for me. Turns out I experienced over 90% dropped calls one dat, 70% another and most days were 25% dropped calls (over a two week period 5 / 09). I have opened a case with the FCC twice and it has prompted ATT to send field engineers into the area. Low signal levels have been confirmed by ATT with no ETA for tower expansion. In closing, no solution in sight but my phone fees stay high regardless of service availability.

Usually have 1-2 bars in house with rare to occasional drop calls if calling from the South side of the house... .2-3 when out and about in Auburn but many areas very poor epically for data. White Water Junction is always poor as is the area around Fred Meyers. Given we are in a valley you'd think they could set up some towers up on the ridges to give us 4+ bars everywhere, but guess it's a bit more complicated then that. Go to Kent and I always have 4+ voice / data.

Constantly dropped calls all over Auburn. Can never maintain a decent conversation from our home near Green River Community College. Called Cingular quite a few times, but they just keep telling us that the reception is fine according to their tests.

Usually pretty good reception throughout this whole area. I occasionally have dropped calls but I think that is to be expected with any carrier in this type of area. Definately better reception than Cingular and Sprint. I can call someone while at my house, walk out to my car, and drive all the way to Seattle or Tacoma without dropping the call. I consider that pretty good.

Poor reception with old Nokia AT&T phone Tried Verizon with no success. I was told this area was a bad zone. Switched to GSM, always four or more bars. Recently tried Sprint, I get three bars. I sticking with Cingular, four or five bars with my RAZR.

I work near here and I can drive around in a 4 square mile area and hear clicks and buzzes and pops and half-words, but nothing consistent. There is a HUGE billboard that has a Verizon Worthless ad on it here and all I can do is look at the guy saying "can you hear me now?" and flip him the bird.

We have dropped call constantly. 0 - 2 bars on signal strength. Previous Motorola cell phone with Verizon gave decent reception. We have had this model E815 Motorola cell phone 1 / 2 year and reception has been bad since we have had it. I am ready to take it back to the Super Mall to Verizon and either exchange it or go to Q-West. My husband gets 5 bars with QWest Wireless using Sanyo cell phone.

It shows 2 bars, sometimes even 4 and calls will drop. Sometimes we're still talking minutes after the call has dropped - no warning, nothing. I have a need to conduct business from home using my cell phone and its practically impossible because of the poor call reception from Sprint. I've tried both of our cell phones different makes / models to no avail. I'm considering switching to someone else.

North or South bound on I5, any lane, just south of the 272nd Area in Federal Way calls will simply stop. No drop warning. It is like the hand-off between towers is failing. Phone indicates that I hung up. Other end of conversation says they were hung up on. Nothing quite like talking into a dead phone!
