Badger Pocket Area / Dallas, Benton City, WA 99320 Wed Aug 24, 2011

we just moved to the area from Cle elum, WA we are having major issues with dropped calls and sometimes no service at all. If we can get a call its cutting in and out. My zip code says Benton City but we are off 82 exit 104. Someone told me this is the Badger pocket area. Does anyone know what carrier works well out here???

Two to three bars of reception strenth. I get pretty clear reception of incming calls and people I call say I sound loud and clear. I can talk anywhere in my house. This is my second Nokia 6255i. I returned the first because the incoming reception was warbly / digital sounding. This one has been great. This phone has a lot of extra features, too. The only downside is that it is a bit heavy compared to other phones and it is not balanced the way I would expect (the top half of this flip phone is almost as heavy as the bottom half). I would like it if US Cellular had more selection of phones...

We tried a few different carriers, trying the phones at our house. This was important to us as we live at the end of town towards the area. US Cellular had the best signal we were able to pick up. We can talk anywhere in our house on our cell phones. The other phones we have used out here that we could get useful reception from are an older model Nokia candy-bar type phone (can not recall the model), a Samsung SCH-A670 (gets 2-3 bars, but sounds great), and a Nokia 5255i (two bars, picks up sound great, but sounds like the person on the other end is talking through a tube). We've been with US Cellular for over 4 years now.

Sprints purchase of the Quest Tower at the high School has made a big difference in my reception around Benton City. there is a week spot between Benton City and the 240 intersection but its a lot better than it use to be
