Something has changed this past month. I had few signal problems until about a month ago. Now there is only 1 bar; cannot talk inside - have to take phone outside to get more than 1 bar and even then I am lucky to get 2 bars. Also, inside the phone almost always goes directly to voice mail - calls almost never make it through even though the phone is right by a window. Time to switch carriers I think.

I think you are a bunch of whiners who can't tell why your having issues. Did you drop the call or did the other phone drop the call. You leave no particulars as to what happened at that time. I have researched each and every phone I have ever had over 20 years before purchasing it. I don't use Smartphones because I have no use for ringers,games,e-mail and other crap being put on them. My e-mail is forwarded as a notification only. My ringer is what came with it. Blah Blah Blah.

I have had consistent great service with AT&T. I think it all depends on the phone. I have had my Nexus One for about a month and places where I used to have sorta iffy service, now is great. I was able to drive from Bothell to Chehalis, which is almost 100 miles, and didn't drop once using 2G / EDGE (i locked it down so the battery would last longer, long conference call). 3G calls have worked as well when I've needed them made. Data speeds on 3G are awesome too. I avg about 3100kbps down 1650kbps up. A friends Droid only could get 630 down.

I am new to the area and with Verizon I have been getting a great deal of roaming notices. Good reception but concerned with the roaming which I have been told is just tower bouncing.

I have used a number of different types of devices on the AT&T network and have had fewer issues than I ever did with T-Mobile or Verizon. AT&T has better phones too.

I've had Verizon for about six years, great service almost everywhere. Couple bad spots I know of in Normandy Park, Northbend, and Olalla. I am in outside sales so I cover a lot of area and can say Verizon has better coverage around the area than any other provider. Even when the signal is down to a bar or two calls seem to still be clear.

I really appreciate Sprint's edge in Canyon Park. I constantly get 4 or 5 bars on my fusic and never get anything lower than 3. Ever since a new tower was placed in the canyon park area typical reception jumped from 2 bars to 4. I pity my friends with T-Mobile who barely get two bars.

typically we have zero or one bar - it is pretty much impossible to call, receive, or maintain a call here. sometimes our phones roam onto verizon's network and that isn't much better at our location.

I love the reception of my Cingular phone. I get great reception in the valleys and on the hills. The only place I loose reception is in the basment of my daughters school but even then its still got one bar.

I need to know whether there is a coverage for the particular zip code.

Horrid, even on top of the house, nothing. The only service here is T-Mobile, my second youngest sister has T-mobile, and she's the only person to ever get a call out from my house. Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, forget it.

Usually have at least 4 out of 5 bars of coverage, and have not dropped a call in the house in the 6 months I've lived here.

Inside choppy reception, outside is better. Overall in the area the reception is from 0 to 3 bars
