There is a widespot alongside the road where there are 5-6 houses about a mile east of Cougar. A lot of the "Locals" pull over there to make their calls. It seems to be the only spot that you can get any reception.

There is one little area about 1 mile east of Cougar, Wa that people seem to get cell phone reception. You always see people pulled over there to use their phones. This is a popular drive for people visiting Mount Saint Helens, you would think there would be better cell phone coverage from any of the cell phone providers.

I have yet to find a provider that gives reception in the Cougar area. I don't have reception from just out of Woodland on, or just out of Battle Ground depending on which way I drive home. You'd think with the amount of people siwtching from a land line to a cell phone, that the providers would start putting towers up in the rural areas...
