They had just built a cell tower 1 block from me on 232nd pl. behind Mikes mini mart... . I Still am lucky to get 1 bar. When I called to ask if it was working they said it was running fine. I have to tell you it is not. Either there is a problem, or they need to increase or boost the signal output, but even then, they are over priced for what we pay and will be switching to another carrier if this is not resolved soon. I cant keep dropping important calls. Also, I am not paying extra money to get signal boosters for my home to make their product work... They are insane... ..

No reception at our house near Westgate Chapel, at 100th and Edmonds Way, the old Edmonds-Woodway High School, and many other areas of Edmonds. My husband has Sprint and does have reception (although not 100% great) in all those areas. His Sprint phone is totally without reception at Top Foods (220th and 99th). Still, better than my Cingular. Really disappointed with Cingular!

Having previously worked for a major Wireless carrier for the past 5 years on the network and service end, I find it upsetting that even today when so many people have wireless service that 99.9% expect 100% coverage from one corner of the world to another. It does not take extensive research on wireless technology to understand that there will be inevitable areas of spotty or no coverage. It does not matter the carrier nor the city, there will be holes in the coverage, poor handoffs from one site to the next, interference, weather impacts, lack of approval for cell tower and so forth. The last one is the best, there was a very well known situation in my company where we got continuous complaints about lack of coverage in a Mercer Island residential area. We went through all the red tape and kept getting denied a permit to build a site to cover the area because the residents (who complained of poor coverage) did not want a cell site in their neighborhood. I find this site interesting however, complaining here will make no difference in your coverage. Instead, call your provider, ask to file a coverage complaint and if enough folks did this, the RF engineers would not have to guess where every last hole in coverage was. Having worked with RF engineers and performance engineers, this information IS wanted and IS used to improve the coverage whereever and whenever possible.

0 to 1 bar. IF a call connects, it will be dropped. EVERY call is dropped. Cannot carry on a conversation. Verizon was perfect here. I may be paying Sprint for service but truth be told, I have no service.

Reception is spotty, with breaks in the conversation and a scratchy tonal quality. I looked for towers in our area, but none are listed for Sprint. Why have stores in areas where you can't get reception? It makes people mad when they get a new phone home and get lousy reception.

Throughout the house I get one bar if I'm lucky. I have to stand perfectly still in one of the few "hotspots" and even then connection usually gets dropped before the call is through. Reception around the neighborhood is spotty at best.

I live at Firdale Village Apts 2nd floor. My reception is so poor, I only infrequently use my phone now. My son got me a LG Voyager hoping for better reception, but I got only minimal improvement. I still have to be by a west-facing window (inside) to get any coverage at all. Can't move around at all, and still I get dropped calls constantly and poor reception if at all. Outiside is somewhat better but barely. I'm going to switch to ATT to see if they have any better reception from this location. With reception like this, I'm sorry I gave up my landline.

I went to 176 / Soundview Dr. to check my cell out... .I have a Samsung A930... .I did get one to two bars... sent my self a text message at the intersection in question... it has to go through the same procedure... even if I would of sent it to someone else... .it came back within a reasonable time... I think it has a lot to do with the cell... my grandson has a LG and I have more bars then he has at certain places... .go figure..as you can see I have a lot of time on my hand

My phone is constantly searcing for a signal. I used to get a little spotty coverage in a couple certain spots in the house and outside, but now it completely stinks. I finaly try to set my phone to call-forward before I get home because I just can't get calls reliably! Very frustrating!
