Awful reception at this location. No wonder, since tower is other side of a hill off Artondale. ATT was improving in the area - why did I switch???

In Gig Harbor, it's a joke. What really sucks is I can hardly get a 4g signal in Seattle. I have all of the best phones Sprint has to offer. Phones are great... service is horrible! SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE! The Epic 4g touch looks great, but I have to reboot it 5+ times a day because it keeps losing service. 10+ years with Sprint..time to say goodbye Sprint hello Verizon!

There is NO reception in Gig Harbor on Verizon from Erin Rockery down Filmore until you get on Wollochet Bay at East Bay Drive... . I drop calls there almost every day and can not get out at Gustofson and Filmore at all. Pretty large dead spot in there.

I've had the phone for one year. I can use it easily once I get over to Gig Harbor Uptown north to Wollochet (so at hwy 16). It doesn't work well at all and mostly has not signal from Ray Nash all along Whitmore, 78th, Artondale and Filmore / Wollochet. I am always told there is great receptions by service people at Sprint, however, in about December the online coverage map stopped showing any coverage in the area. It did show coverage when I bought the phone (actually it was a gift from my daughter, who is very upset that it only worked medium-well and only that much for about 6 months. she's very upset that I now have to buy a different phone, after dealing with bad service for 6 more months. I'm just glad I didn't have it on contract! I had Verizon before and that was bad here too. My husband is on Sprint too, but his Blackberry does a bit better here. He mostly uses it for email which is more consistent service. And it is from his workplace, so he keeps it regardless.

Inside the house occasionally able to make a call. Sometimes can make a call and 30 seconds into the conversation it will drop. frustrating to say the least. Even outside I get lots of complaints from the other party about sound quality - calls get dropped as well - just not as often.

sometimes I will get only two bars but I never lost any call. I used it inside my house for calls and texting as well. We do have lots of trees around. I have the prepaid service plan.

Sprint kicks butt over here. Verizon, ATT and others welcomed anytime.

God forbid we have an emergency in the middle of the night. Phone does work when you go towards Stone Dr. closer to the airport. What a shame.

I have never had a problem with ATT at my residence. I have had to switch carriers though when I first moved in. Verizon, t-mobile, and Sprint all have bad reception in this part of Rosedale.

Well its always worked when I needed it, I think its the phone sometimes, but I don't really have any complaints.
