I got this phone on the Inpulse pay as you go plan. Although the phone itself falls short of my desires, the reception doesn't. It's been awesome. I used to have AT&T, but it never worked up here. I guess waiting 5 yrs to get back into the cellular game has finally paid off. I'm now considering switching to a 2 yr plan with Verizon so I can get the internet, and many other features provided by them, just for signing up. I'm extreamly happy! :D

Ive had coverage with Cingular and what a mistake that was! 2 years stuck with the worst coverage anywhere! I had dropped calls in everett on marine view dr, all up and down hy9 from woodinvile to granite, on Getchall rd, also on hwy 92. Prety much my whole comute was dead zones everwhere. I should have stayed with T-mobile. I know have Nextel for work phone and it comes in just about everywhere in the state. and I should know I travel all over the state.. thats my.02

I recently visited Bozeman Mt. and have decided to relocate there and was disappointed to find that my Nextel provider had no reception as I crossed over the border from Idaho. I was told raving reviews by the young man who sold me the phone as well as the service that they had the best reception of any cell phone provider and that I would not have to worry any more about not having any reception, since I travel often it was one of my major complaints with the cell phone I did have. Now I know that Nextel is not the best and is actually lacking in all the areas a good cell phone needs to have, i.e the battery lasting more then one phone call! So I suggest that if you live outside a major city then do not require the service of Nextel cause you will be sorely let down.

I seldom get service inside my house and have to sit outside just to make or take calls - which is fine when it's not cold or raining. So I'm checking into other services and I'm afraid this is the best it gets out here.
