Used to get one bar reception. The last week this droped off to none. Noticed a new tower being installed on Slater Kenney hope it is t mobileWas this review helpful to you?
Forget about data. Voice is choppy. Motorola Motorola G4. I usually get a no coverage warning from the phone, though it will let me make a call. I did get LTE at the Martin Way store and along I5 through downtown Olympia, but just junk after that. Going back to Verizon. I only switched because Verizon won't give me 4G on the phone because I didn't buy it from them :)Was this review helpful to you?
In Olympia and much of Thurston County, T-Mobile is only useful within range of their towers downtown. I live in the Boston Harbor area and must go outside to make a call. Texts send eventually. I'm lucky to get 3G data on a clear day if I set my phone in a window and don't move it. If its overcast at all I have no data and probably no service. I live less than ten minutes from downtown Olympia, the capitol of the state that T-Mobile is based in, and my service is terrible. T-Mobile Tuesdays is literally the only thing keeping me as a customer, and 3 / 4 of that stuff is garbage too.Was this review helpful to you?
After using Verizon for years we finally decided we were tired of having virtually NO service in our neighborhood, but good service during our daily I-5 commutes. Being able to use our iPhones from home didn't seem too much to ask. Costco phone reps promised if AT&T didn't perform better we could have a do over. We were pleasantly surprised to find AT&T provides good home reception. A total shock as the South Bay / Woodard Bay areas are notoriously "dead" areas. We haven't--- but we could-- totally get rid of our landline. Is there another carrier that provides the same service for this area less? Consumer Cellular? Opinions? Was this review helpful to you?
The only thing consistent about ATT is, "SEARCHING", TEXTS DON'T SEND, DROPPED CALLS and customer service reps that say their service works fine in the area. Anyone got a better idea? Was this review helpful to you?
call drops in the middle or gets blank... looking for alternate carrier choice in this area. Was this review helpful to you?
I just switched to T-Mobile from Verizon. Verizon wouldn't help by even providing me a booster (free wanted me to pay them $200 for a booster) to receive coverage so I switched to T-Mobile. Saving me $$$ 60. a month but coverage is still really marginal in the Boston Harbor (Marina) area. Wish a cell tower would happen soon. In California their cell towers are Brown poles with Green fake limbs instead of tall silver eye soars. Has anyone thought of using that here in Washington State? We might have less resistance from communities and more towers. May have to resort to reinstalling my land line... ..Was this review helpful to you?
Nothing from aberdeen to pacific beach. They get verizon. Was this review helpful to you?
Often only one bar utilizing an iPhone 5s from my residence, which is 1.3 miles away from the mall and 3.8 miles away from the WA state capitol building. Calls often dropped or unable to connect at all. It's absurd, considering my location. Verizon typically has superior coverage by my experience. Was this review helpful to you?
I am giving T-Mobile a below average review because the coverage is only great if you live in Metro area. Soon as you leave city you are in trouble. I used to have T-Mobile and fiercely defended them but after years of T-Mobile making promises that coverage would get better for me I finally just left. I have AT&T now and I have not only superior coverage but I have 4G and LTE everywhere even out of town. That said I can’t recommend T-Mobile unless you live in the city and never leave town. T-Mobile I hope you are listening, if you don't have the towers then at least work on better roaming agreements. In Washington much of the areas you don't cover are covered by AT&T. IDEA, you could close the gaps with roaming agreements temporarily while you invest into better reception for the rural areas. NOTE to listeners don’t be fool by T-Mobiles low plans. Prepaid providers like Cricket Wireless uses AT&T and offers cheap plans plus you get the great coverage unlike T-Mobile, it’s kind of a no-brainer.Was this review helpful to you?
