2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Olympia Mall, Olympia, WA 98502 |

I am giving T-Mobile a below average review because the coverage is only great if you live in Metro area. Soon as you leave city you are in trouble. I used to have T-Mobile and fiercely defended them but after years of T-Mobile making promises that coverage would get better for me I finally just left. I have AT&T now and I have not only superior coverage but I have 4G and LTE everywhere even out of town. That said I can’t recommend T-Mobile unless you live in the city and never leave town. T-Mobile I hope you are listening, if you don't have the towers then at least work on better roaming agreements. In Washington much of the areas you don't cover are covered by AT&T. IDEA, you could close the gaps with roaming agreements temporarily while you invest into better reception for the rural areas. NOTE to listeners don’t be fool by T-Mobiles low plans. Prepaid providers like Cricket Wireless uses AT&T and offers cheap plans plus you get the great coverage unlike T-Mobile, it’s kind of a no-brainer.

T mobile service is good if your in the city limits but soon as you leave be prepared to drop to 2G service and have bad reception. Had T-Mobile service for several years and every time I called they said the service was about to get better, that was two years ago and they for the most part here in Washington are still using 2G. For GOD sakes T-Mobile get with it covering little slivers of areas in the state doesn't get it done. I just recently switch to AT&T and it was the best thing I every did, price is a bit more but it just WORKS and even in my rural area in Thurston County I get 4G strong every where. Oh wait T-Mobile is still on 2G! Don't believe what T-Mobile sales reps tell you they are only upgrading towers in the major city areas. Here is Washington T-Mobile is not a good choice unless you live in town and never leave.

MetroPCS

5 Out of 5 (5 stars) | By LBA Park | Hoffman and Morse-Merriman, Olympia, WA 98501 |

I transferred from Verizon after over four years with Verizon. Was paying $190 a month for three phones. Now I pay $100 a month for four phones. Service with Verizon was better in some places in town, but not in my house. Metro PCS is actually better with 4 bars. Considering the over all value, I'm a happy customer.

My husband had an I phone 4 with excellent Verizon coverage, even in the house. We then bought 2 Samsung Galaxy 4S phones signed up for out first 2yr contract with Verizon. The reception was terrific then suddenly has declined to no ability to text on our property and dropped calls around East Olympia and Lacey. I was told by Verizon that we are in a "variable reception / service area!" We have none to one bar if lucky with signal strength of -115db! If we would have been told that at the Costco Verizon kiosk we would have not signed up! Why pay for service you can't get?!

I seriously considering moving to MetroPCS - it looks like a good deal. 4 lines for 100 bucks just have to do an auto payment plan per month. Have to pay for phones but can get a great one for 99 bucks - I know downloads will be slow but it is anyway - just need primarily for texting, phone calls. Anyone have any experience with them yet? Coverage area says "satisfaotory" for this area..

Very poor service, dropped calls, interference, the problems go on and on. Verizon does not care. Have you ever spoken to the customer service people if so that should tell the whole story.

Can't receive or send msg, or talk. Verizon wants to SELL me some sort of boost modem for $200! What? Pay more over the already exorbitant monthly charges for no service?! The other cell companies are no better in our area. WHAT A TOTAL RIPOFF!

Poor to no reception and through all these years they have no plans to get better towers so service in the hills above Olympia is horrible. The phone is 3 G capable but the area is not able to run service better than 1.5. Looking for anyone that gets service to get calls.

I get horrible cell service in most of tumwater. Once I cross into Olympia and Lacey it gets a little better but no by much. We need more towers in this area for call quality to get better.

I had no problem with my old Motorola Razr... since "upgrading" to a "smart" phone I very rarely get any reception at my house (inside or out).

Oops. I'm a bonehead. Totally thought this was a way to contact Sprint, as they don't seem to be helpful when I call them about it. Anywho, as I said before, my Sprint service works crystal clear everywhere else but where I work. Which is ridiculous and very frustrating because I need my cellphone to do my job. I was recommended to sign up with Sprint through several people who highly recommended them. Needless to say, I'm very frustrated. But other than it not functioning well at work, the service works just peachy elsewhere!

My Sprint coverage seems work fine everywhere else BUT where I work--which is pretty disappointing since I need my cellphone for work. What is the problem? I doubt it's my phone, as it works just fine in other areas--please look into this, as I'm sure there are other Sprint carriers that are having this same issue! My friends and co-workers have different carriers and their phones seem to do fine. Please look into this issue and assist--it would be greatly appreciated! -Erika 360-918-4514

Reception is horrible inside the house! Reception was great a year ago but has declined since. Bars jump from 1-2 inside and I have to walk around saying "Can you hear me now!" Frustrating!

Was told by AT&T that coverage should be great in Olympia. They then asked if there were some trees in the area. I answered yes and the 'customer service' person said that if there are trees nearby they can't guarantee coverage. Since we live in the Evergreen State, why do they not tell you that when you sign up? Don't waste your time with this ridiculous company.

We have no reception at our house but if you travel 3 blocks in either direction it works fine. Need a Verizon tower closer!
