Verizon has always been a below average wireless provider. They have never met my expectations. I have called tech support several times to report poor cell signal strength, higher than average dropped calls, and forget about relying on the wireless internet broadband. They supposedly drove a van to my area to check signal strength. They continuously blame the poor service on infrastructure, but I have had below average service in most regional locations. They always fall back on their claim of being the largest provider, but that certainly does not mean they are the best.

I am in the town of Orting which is in a rural area in the foothills of Mt. Rainier, about 80 miles southeast of Seattle. I used to have AT&T's analog service and couldn't hardly ever get a signal at home or here in town which was frustrating. I just switched to Cingular's new GSM digital service and can get a perfect signal everywhere around here, and it has not failed me yet in my travels up and down the I-5 corridor.
