You will get 2 bar service if you stand on the south beach. Any other service is thru Telus (Canada). This service totally limits your servic to USA numbers like 800 etc. Verizon have been telling lies about a tower here for a least 5 years. I am sick of them. Customer service (what service its a collection agency) emails, calls never replied to because the 1st level dummies only sell new service and do not know squat about anything else.

Sometimes I get one bar when the sun, moon and planets are in perfect alignment but have never successfully received or placed a call on my Verizon phone here in Point Roberts. Seattle has blazing 4G speeds, but here I cant even place a call. 3G is just a distant dream here. I think I may have to switch to a Canadian Cellular provider as they ALL have super strong reception here in Point Roberts.

This would change if Verizon actually built the tower in Point Roberts they have had in planning stages for years now, but they still won't commit to a timeline. For now Rogers AT&T seems to be your best bet on the Point and I'm switching. Tired of waiting for that tower.

We get Verizon reception at home only when the wind blows in a certain direction. I guess that the wind catches the cell transmitter. Otherwise we're on 'roam' at Alder Street. Reception is pretty good at the top of the road, however.
