Back when we had Cingular (which was bought by AT&T) we had great coverage, even in buildings and basements on campus. Now I get no signal in the basement of the library at all, spotty coverage in other buildings on campus and intermittent service at home. (And I live near the top of one of the hills.) Sometimes I get one bar at home, sometimes two if I'm lucky. Cingular had better coverage.

Over the past three years, T-Mobile has been aggressively expanding their service around these parts. When I first came here, they had two towers for Pullman and one for Moscow. Now, they have three in Moscow and at least four in Pullman. Their coverage outside of Pullman is also quite good. Service is available for most of US-195 between Lewiston and Spokane. Never had a dropped call anywhere in Pullman, and I even get reception in buildings where my friends (on Sprint, Cingular, and Verizon) get little to no signal. Perfect signal at my apartment in downtown Pullman. Couldn't ask for a better provider.

Location is my Home, but commenting on overall signal in the Pullman Moscow area. Large issues with my phone, but unless I am indoors I rarely see under 3 bars, and then its typical if I am inside to see one. Still very useable, and no major service issues. Occasionally with this phone I will lose signals in basements, or big buildings, but rarely have lost all signal anywhere on campus, including the concrete IT building. Last time I drove Hwy. 26 to I-90 over to the I-5 coordidor I didn't lose signal once. I thought Sprint was better for the particular area, but wanted better statewide coverage, for the drives home.

I have had Cingular for two years now and I can't even use my phone in my house. I have to leave it by the door where it gets 1 bar and when the phone rings you have to go outside to talk otherwise you can't hear anything. IT SUCKS! If you are thinking of switching to Cingular... .DONT!

Just one bar and I always get the all circuts are busy and have to redial 5-20 times to get through. I am going to try out Verizon and see if they are any better because I can't stand ATT at the moment. Nothing worse than not getting your call though at an important moment. It might just be my phone but the service seems pretty poor.

Great coverage. Not one dropped call in one year. One mile outside of town, or away from the highways have no coverage. That's just wheat out there anyway. Football Saturdays are the only time making a call can be tricky.

Good reception in most of the Pullman, Moscow, and Colfax, but drops immediately when u leave town (of course). Poor reception in the basement of the ETRL (where I spend most of my time) but ok outside.
