I drop a call approaching this intersection everyday for the last couple of months.

Past 4 years with Verizon has been perfect in this area. Tower at 176th and Meridian provides full signal indoors and out.

Sprint Nextel Sucks here. NO SIGNAL to 1 maybe 2 bars. When it was just Nextel, before the buyout, my Nextel worked great. But now, most visitors to my house complain that they get no reception at my house. I think I'm in a black hole.

It really depends on the weather if my phone goes into search mode or if I might have one bar. Every service has the same problem at my house. I have been with Verizon over 15 years, they are still the best reception at my house.

Reception on 94th east of 148th is best with Sprint than with T-Mobile or Cingular. I couldn't conduct business with T Mobile or Cingular before switching to Sprint out of my home office but now I can. Sprint has predictable bills and I'm happiest here. Calls drop on 94th at about 118th. Towers needed here badly.

I get excellent service with Verizon, there are only a couple of spots higher in the hills that I don't get excellent reception.

No reception at home just past where 128th turns into resivoir. Everyone that comes to my house looses signal within 1 / 2 mile no matter what carrier they use, Cingular, Sprint, T-mobile, Verizon, None of them work~

I get no reception inside my house, and maybe two bars (if I'm lucky) when I'm outside in my yard. The closer I get to 512 the better reception becomes. But the further south you go on the rural roads towards Eatonville the worse it gets. I had the same issue with my Verizon phone as well.

Now that my Qwest contract is over I switched to Verizon and my reception is better but still needs work, at least I can now answer my cell phone without dropping the call which is better than the Qwest reception, there just needs to be more cell towers in South Hill / South Tacoma between Meridian and Canyon.

The Qwest reception in the South Hill area is extremely poor to no reception! If you live in the South Hill, South Tacoma area DO NOT GET QWEST CELL PHONES, you will be sorry for signing that contract.

Poor reception right here in Manorwood but everywhere else is excellent. Verizon just barely works here as well

Reception comes and goes. Mostly goes to none.

Very poor reception at house. 2 blocks down the street excellent reception(3 bars minimum). Cingular, which I had until 2 months ago had excellent reception in same area, had to switch to work phone.

I mainly stay within the Sumner / Bonney Lake area and I always have good reception. I've used phones from Verizon and T Mobile up here also, and I must say that they don't really compare to the standard that Cingular sets. A friend of mine uses Nextel and he always has reception also.

I'm wondering if any companies get good reception in Edgewood?

I live a stone's throw from Costco, South Hill Mall, Rogers High School and a million subdivisions and yet can get NO cellphone reception at my house. No one can, regardless of who their provider is. Our little subdivision appears to be a black hole, and it's so frustrating especially since Verizon acknowledges the problem but has no plans to do anything about it.

6 bars in D / T Puyallup. 2-3 once you start up the hill. 0 bars inside house that is 3 / 4 of the way up the hill. Reception is fine most other places.

Live 1 mile off maridian and up untill 3 days ago had great signal. T-Mobile had no signal whatsoever and could not make calls at all. contract was up so swithced to Verizon and still have poor service, 1 bar only but at least can make calls.

No reception on 108th Ave. Can't get reception in Edgewood unless I drive out to Meridian. T-Mobile drops calls CONSTANTLY on I-5 and 167.

I get great reception almost everywhere I go in the Puyallup, Tacoma area. I have been using Cingular for over three years and I have always received good to great reception, even in southern California
